Founded in 1985 by one of the original Xilinx Field Application Engineers, the continuing mission of Bottom Line Technologies Inc (BLT) is to offer our Clients premium quality design services on aggressive schedules at an competitive price.

In general, industrial control products must be very reliable and yet relatively inexpensive. Often there is a real-time component to their operation; that is, industrial controls must respond quickly to external events or otherwise continually adapt to their environment.

The term "industrial controls" includes programmable loop controllers, digital IO modules, data acquisition, analog output modules, and all manner of special purpose sensors and actuators. It also includes embedded controllers, often running real time operating systems and applications, secure or redundant communications networks, and front-end intelligent operator consoles typically running sophisticated monitoring, control, and optimization applications. Many industrial control components must be mechanically and electrically ruggedized against their environments.

BLT brings specific skills to bear in the area of industrial controls, including the design of bug-free hardware and software, interface design, real time embedded code, very high speed hardware, mixed signal applications, digital signal processing, algorithm development, and system architecture. For the most challenging applications, we apply our experience serving Military and Aerospace clients where "failure is not an option."
