Founded in 1985 by one of the original Xilinx Field Application Engineers, the continuing mission of Bottom Line Technologies Inc (BLT) is to offer our Clients premium quality design services on aggressive schedules at an competitive price.

Bottom Line brings decades of project management experience to bear on each customer’s project, whether it be a few-day effort to one requiring multiple man-years. Our management techniques include up-front project planning, careful architecture definition, methodical structured design, coding, verification, and testing. In order to remain efficient, we strive to accomplish exactly the amount of planning needed to ensure no wasted design effort. Extensive review and simulation means that our designs often work 100% the first time they are powered up.

For each project, BLT provides the kind of frequent communication with the customer so important to avoiding mistakes. This communication takes three forms:
  1. Phone calls and email on an as-needed basis. These typically occur frequently at the beginning of a project and diminish as the learning curve is climbed.
  2. Weekly status reports that continue for the duration of the project.
  3. Scheduled formal reviews – occur periodically for projects lasting more than a few weeks.
Good design practice, good customer communication, careful assignment of the right personnel to each job, and the tenacity to do the job right work together, resulting in successful and timely completion of each project.
