"Then what?"
  • The design is complete. Wonderful! Then what?
  • You've got the contract. Great! Then what?
  • Product is rolling off the line. Outstanding! Then what?

    "Then what?" Can give you a priceless view into the future.

    For example, consider, in advance, product rolling off the production line. Asking "Then what?" might suggest a mechanical model of the product should be constructed to insure the shipping containers were correctly sized, and were manufacturable in the timeframe required. Perhaps "Then what?" would also raise the issue of short-term floor space, to inventory the production runs.

    While a random thought process could cover all future contingencies, "Then what?" provides a systematic approach for navigating the timeline to achieve goals.
