PLDs can often provide the lowest cost programmable solution for a small logic design, and may in fact be the lowest cost solution, programmable or otherwise. While many PLD designs are relatively simple, taking maximum advantage of the low cost of these components may involve packing the maximum amount of the logic in each device. Achieving this goal often involves careful and persistent architecting and partitioning of the logic. BLT has unparalleled tenacity when it comes to getting the most out of, and into, a PLD.
